How do I add an AnchorDesk link to my web page?

If you have your own Web page you can add a link to AnchorDesk as a reference, so your visitors can be amazed and entertained. In either case the porcedure is the same. You can add 1) a text link, 2) a forms link or 3) a graphic link. Just highlight the text next to the version you prefer, copy it and past it into the HTML in your web page.

Text Links

A hypertex link is the quickest, easiest and most versatile way to add a link to AnchorDesk from your site. A text link looks like this:

ZDNet AnchorDesk
To create a text link, copy this HTML to your page:
<A HREF="http://www.anchordesk.com">ZDNet AnchorDesk</A>

Form Links

Using the forms capability of browsers is only slightly more complicated, and adds a graphic look without really adding graphics. A forms-generated button looks like this:

To create a forms-generated button, copy this HTML to your page:
<FORM ACTION="http://www.anchordesk.com"><INPUT TYPE="submit" VALUE="ZDNet AnchorDesk"></FORM>

Graphic Links

The most visually appealing way of adding an AnchorDesk link is a graphic link, which looks like this:

ZDNet AnchorDesk
To create a graphic link, copy this HTML to your page:
<A HREF="http://www.anchordesk.com"><IMG SRC="http://www5.zdnet.com/anchordesk/images/bnnr.gif" WIDTH=257 HEIGHT=59 BORDER=0 ALIGN="TOP" ALT="ZDNet AnchorDesk"></A>

One final hint: The AnchorDesk front page changes three times a week. If you’re linking because of a specific story, you’ll want to link to that story URL instead of our front page.

We’ve added this page in response to reader suggestion, and we hope the information we’ve given here has been helpful. AnchorDesk relies on reader suggestions to make our site easier and more productive to use. Thanks for the links and for your support of AnchorDesk.
