Washing away the ink smudges, Liz joined AnchorDesk after writing and editing newspapers and magazines in the Pacific Northwest for nearly 20 years. She'd started in the news biz back in the seventies after leaving the University of Oregon with a B.S. in history (what goes around, comes around). Print media was in its prime at the time and there were still trees in the forests. Gave up the ghost, some would say literally, for the online publishing ranks. Finds herself steeped in a bold new journalistic synergy, where venom flies at 33-Kbaud speed around the globe and “according to hearsay” may be the strongest attribution you’re ever going to see.
